Rode Sherman 9-10-11 April. It snowed while we were there. Anywhere snow from the trailhead NOW at bathroom to Sherman Peak. 6 plus feet snow above 8500 on the north side.
Rode to yurt … no bare spots.
Talked to Bob NFS 4/26 says trail open from bathroom. Still lots of snow 6 plus at pass but take care of sudden bald spots caused by water run on the road.
