With the lack of snow in California we ventured to central Utah to ride about 9 hours from home. Along with myself and Timmy, Robbie, Armand and his son came. We’ve been riding in Utah for the past three years and have met some of the nicest people there. I talked with our friends in Utah and decided to ride a new area south of Interstate 70 about 25 miles east of Richfield. This is the Fish Lake National Forest. Utah received some good storms on Christmas and New Years so we headed out. On Saturday we Rode with our friends who are locals. They showed us the good places to ride and the places to stay clear of the high avalanche danger. On Sunday we rode the same area by ourselves and the weather was better then Saturday. Robbie, Armand and Armand Jr. had to head back to Bakersfield but Timmy and I stayed in Utah to ride three more days up on Skyline out of Fairview, Utah. The lodging and fuel is cheap and the area has some of the best wide open conditions we’ve ever rode. We ended up leaving the trailer at the local dealer to save on fuel and wear and tear as there is no snow to ride locally and we’ll be going back to Utah.
I’ve finished editing the first two days of riding and have uploaded them to the SugarloafersClub YouTube channel. You can also see them by clicking on them below. Stay turned to watch the next three days as I finish up editing the awesome footage.
Take care and pray for snow in our local mountains!
