Per NFS Bob Frenes, the road is open to the 8,000 foot snow park / trail head. There is 10-12″ of new snow on a 1-2 foot base at the trail head. It was lightly snowing all day. They will start grooming on Friday so be aware that the groomer may be in your path of travel.
