Spent several days in central Utah, Northerrn Utah and Southwest Wyoming. The hotels are resonable $70-80 a night. Drive time with a trailer is 11 hours and 9 hours without. We actually left the trailer in Utah during our first trip in January so we wouldn’t have to haul the sleds back and forth. The riding areas in Utah are amazing. They are large open areas with no riding restrictions. We really like the Wasatch Plateau in the Manti la Sal National Forest north of I-70 and East of US-89. It’s so large you can spend days riding in the mountains and not see the same areas. Several trail heads get you up the mountain and then you’re in one big open play area. It’s an off trail rider’s dream – and not too far from home. It’s kind of like a thousand Sherman Pass areas all in one.
